- Network News Reader/VM (NNR) is a client implementation of Network
- News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) a.k.a RFC 977. NNR gives VM users
- interactive access to a wide variety of bulletin boards, digests and
- interest groups.

- as of NNR S_1.3.2 the principal version of RXSOCKET will be V2. i
- have hooks into NNR to support REXTCPIP which could easily be
- modified if there were a need to adapt RXSOCKET V1. please let me
- know if you have a situation where migration to RXSOCKET V2 is
- impossible and i'll generate the necessary updates.

- as of NNR *_1.3.3 INN servers will be recognized. if the INN
- server is INN 1.4 or later XOVER will be used.

- "gnnrt" for the rextcpip version from source.vers130 and
- updates.vers134.
